This kitchen towel was inspired by the highly-valued porcelain pieces that were shipped to Europe from the Japanese port of Arita in the late 17th century. Each jacquard-woven, cotton cloth features a pair of Hoho Birds, who only rarely appear on earth to bing peace and happiness. They are surrounded by plants that are found in and around Cape Town, including oxalis, proteas and aloes.
