Did you know that a ‘Chandler’ is a candle-maker? I might be the first one in my family in several generations and so I thought we’d start off gently. These candles are hand-made in Cape Town using only the highest quality ingredients and are scented by a fragrance that we came up with ourselves from locally-sourced, organic essential oils. The candle itself is poured into our hand-blown, recycled glass goblets – which were made in Eswatini (formally Swaziland) – and when your candle gives up the ghost after 80+ hours of burning, you are left with a beautiful glass vessel for future flowers, desserts or bacchanalian festivities.
