These copper wall sconces are inspired by the fine wall-sconces of Robert Adam, a Neo-Classical architect from the 18th Century. Using copper wire instead of carved and gilded plaster, the light is essentially a long 3-dimensional doodle, painstakingly crafted by George Magaso, an uber talented Zimbabwean ‘wire-smith’. The sconces speak to the work of silver filigree work from yesteryear, and when lit up, these sconces throw the most beautiful light and shadows.
