This ceramic piece is a Classic. It can be used to house wooden spoons in a kitchen, or as a simple and timeless vase. I called it the Protea Vase because I don’t think you always need to buy a huge bunch of flowers – sometimes a simple Protea is enough. The blue decoration is based on a linocut print that Patricia made and is a local reinterpretation of the Willow Pattern. It contains the Cape-South Easter, Cape-Dutch Architectural Elements and … a protea or two!
