I have long loved the simplicity of the timeless, white-washed gables that can be found in and around the wine farms of the Western Cape. The following ceramic pieces are a homage to these rolling, moulded forms. I’m pretty useless with my hands when it comes to sculpting and so I approached my friend, the much-loved potter Wendy Coleman, who took my drawings and created the range for me. The range consists of a dinner plate, a side plate, a serving platter, a jug and a bowl. They work well as a set, but they also love to be mixed up with other pieces on a lunch table.
