Linda Pretorius’s latest exhibition is a continuation of her daily habit of painting floral arrangements. Originally working as a florist in London, Linda’s love for her subject and medium is evident in her robust and unapologetically loud oil paintings. The exhibition has been curated by arranging the works from the quietest to the most exuberant and allows the viewer to work out where on the scale of ‘Blom’ they belong. Are you a quiet nasturtium, or are you a loud bunch of peach-coloured blooms? Are you a fragrant sweet-pea posey, or a wild bunch of irises and roses? Come through and see for yourself for the late Summer month of March.
