Chandler House has long been a gallery of sorts, promoting ‘untrained’ and unexpected artists. As curator, Michael has hosted more than 100 exhibitions that have always been less about the dictates of the ‘contemporary art scene’ and more about simple storytelling. Many of those who have exhibited here have gone on to produce the most marvelous things, presenting local sensibilities to a global audience.
