A Gemma Orkin Butterfly Card, (Mountain Pride)

Gemma Orkin is one of South Africa’s most loved ceramic artists. We have exhibited her work over the years and we’re excited to be collaborating with her on a range of stationery. This card is the first of what we hope will become a series of cards that celebrates South Africa’s indigenous butterflies.

The Mountain Pride, Aeropetes tulbaghia, can be found on Table Mountain in the month of February when it spends it’s time pollenating the scarlet disa orchids that lie hidden in cool streams above the cloud line.

This letter-pressed card was printed locally on 300gsm card and measures 11.5cm x 16.5cm.
