In the ancient Mediterranean, the palm frond became a symbol of peace, victory and even eternal life. We have more humble aspirations for this plate… perhaps as a bearer of crudités, for example, or even those salty pretzels that no one ever eats. Each piece is hand-painted by the delightful Gemma Orkin, one of Cape Town’s best-known ceramicists.

Each piece is individually handmade, so slight variations in size and shape may occur. These differences are a natural part of the making process and make every piece unique.
Care instructions:
Made from high-fired, glazed stoneware. Food-safe, ovenproof, waterproof and dishwasher-safe. Not microwave-safe. Avoid direct heat, including stovetops and grills, as well as sudden or extreme temperature changes. Please handle with care.
