A Cape Rococo Corbel
R1,600
These plaster wall corbels take their inspiration from the Cape-Dutch Cabinets of the late 18th Century. At the apex of each original Rococo cabinet or armoire, one will find a carved element which was used to display the finest of ceramics from Asia. Today these cast gables are divorced from their original obligations and make traditional yet contemporary plinths on which anything can be displayed.
